This Gingerbread Pecan Butter has ruined my life, because I foolishly only got one jar, and now I won't be able to have it again for a year. I don't really understand how it's as good as it is. I thought it would taste like Artisana's regular pecan cashew butter (good! one of my favorites!) but with spices. That is not what it tastes like. It tastes like gingerbread cookie dough. It has the texture of hot fudge sauce that you would pour on ice cream. It is one of the best things I've ever eaten, and I will think about it longingly until I can get it again next year. Next year I will definitely get six jars, so that I can share it (although realistically, I will eat most of it myself).
