With unending variations, this is the sauce that keeps on giving. Start with the base recipe and add ingredients to fit with your mood and your meal plan.
1 C Artisana Cashew Butter
2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos (can use tamari, if you prefer)
1/2 C Water
How to Make
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Tangy: add an additional 2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice to take the base recipe from sweet and savory to sweet and tangy.
Garlic Lover: add two cloves peeled garlic and blend until smooth.
Cilantro-Lime: add 2 Tbsp lime juice and 1/4 C chopped cilantro.

Pour over roasted veggies. We especially love it with roasted curried cauliflower and roasted carrots.
Build a "Macro Bowl" or "Buddha Bowl" with rice / cauliflower rice, a serving of protein, and vegetables; top with the Go To Cashew Sauce.
Chop Lacinato Kale as thin as matchsticks, massage with cashew sauce, mix in a protein, and top with crunchy sunflower or pumpkin seeds.
